Gibsons & District Public Library Association Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the Gibsons & District Public Library will be held on Saturday, April 5th, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the library.  Everyone is welcome.

The GDPL Board is seeking nominations to fill one two-year term vacancy, commencing April 5th, 2025. To be eligible the nominee must be:

• 18 years of age or older;
• a current member of the Gibsons & District Public Library Association;
• a resident of The Town of Gibsons, Electoral Area D (Roberts Creek), Area E (Elphinstone), or Area F (West Howe Sound).

Completed nomination forms must be received at the Library by February 22nd, 2025. The Board is looking for a candidate to enhance its values of diversity, equity and inclusion and will endorse a candidate prior to the election which will be held at the Annual General Meeting on April 5th, 2025. Candidate packages, including nomination forms and information on the expectations and the role are available at the library.
