Library of Things

What is a Library of Things?

A Library of Things (LoT) is a collection of non-traditional library items available for the community to borrow for free. These items might be rarely used, hard to store, or expensive, such as electronic equipment, musical instruments, or household tools.

We want this collection to be useful to many audiences, reduce community-wide waste and consumption, and contribute to social inclusion, accessibility, and affordability for members of the community.

Borrowing Information:

  • One per library card
  • Must be picked up and returned to GDPL.
  • Loan periods vary per kit; it is the borrower’s responsibility to be aware of due dates and lending times.
