Seed Saving Workshop

Enjoy growing your own vegetables? Have you ever wanted to grow a certain variety and found the seed companies are no longer growing it? Learn how to save your own seeds. Not only will you have seeds that grow plants that love your garden’s microclimate, you will also save money and be able to share seeds to a Seed Library.
Irene Bremer is a member of the Sunshine Coast Seed Saving Collective and runs the Sechelt
Seed Sharing Library. Irene is an avid vegetable gardener and seed saver.
Richard Fortier of the Gibsons Environmental Alliance will also give a short talk on how to put your garden to bed for winter.
