The Living with Dying Conversation Series is inspired by the video series and documentary produced by Sunshine Coast Hospice which offers an intimate glimpse into the experience of facing a life-limiting illness, caregiving, and grieving a loved one’s death. Through honest and tender conversations that are free to attend, residents of the Lower Sunshine Coast will share their reflections on being a patient, a caregiver, a healthcare professional, a hospice volunteer, and/or a griever. We will learn what matters most to them, their hopes, and their concerns, giving us insight into how we might navigate our own relationship with illness, death, dying, and grief. A short documentary discussing each theme will be screened followed by a panel discussion and questions from the audience. Everyone is encouraged to be brave with their questions and reflections. A resource list will also be available for those who would like more information on each topic.

Conversations facilitated by Donna Shugar and Corinne Thorsell.
